This project comprised substantial alterations and the complete 'top to bottom' renovation of a substantial B-listed Victorian townhouse in Edinburgh.

The 3-storey end terrace property had previously been used for many years as a guest house. The project involved the reconfiguration of the upper floors to create 4 elegant bedrooms with new ensuite facilities, the opening up of rooms on the ground floor to form a new contemporary kitchen/ dining space to the rear, and the installation of a discreet personal lift to serve the main living levels. The project included extensive roof works, the installation of new skylights, stone repairs, the replacement of all sash and case windows, the complete re-plumbing of the property including the installation of underfloor heating throughout the ground floor, full re-wiring of the property including architectural lighting throughout, the fitting out of new bathrooms, kitchen and wet bar, new purpose-made joinery elements, extensive plaster repairs, new parquet flooring, full re-decoration, and comprehensive landscaping works to front & rear. The refurbished bright and colourful spaces have been brought to life with the clients’ unique collection of furniture, artwork and other objects, to create a very personal home.
